Teri was introduced to pickleball while visiting her parents in Arizona. Her dad is an avid pickleball player in Arizona. Teri began to play pickleball more regularly in February of 2021. She entered her first pickleball tournament that spring taking First Place in her division. Teri has competed locally in various tournaments in Mixed Doubles 3.5 and Women’s 3.5 divisions.
You can find Teri playing pickleball at Westover Park in Oconomowoc, NE Park in Oconomowoc, Buchner Park, Lowell Park, Center Court, the WAC Lake Country, the WAC Brookfield, and at the UWM-Waukesha Fieldhouse.
When Teri is not playing pickleball, she is working as a Hospice & Palliative Care Registered Nurse at a local non-profit hospice organization. Teri is passionate about health & wellness and understands the importance of enjoying all the fun things life has to offer.
Teri loves her role as the Editor/Publisher of this newsletter to help continue to grow the great game of pickleball in the greater Waukesha area. She believes pickleball is an excellent way for adults and children to be active, socialize, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Via the newsletter, Teri will continue to provide local pickleball news and information about local pickleball events.
